Job Opportunity: Plant Equipment Operator

A dynamic opportunity exists for a skilled individual to operate a range of plant equipment, including Skid Steers, Backhoe Loaders and Heavy Combination (HC) vehicles.

The primary purpose of this role is to maintain BVSC sealed pavement assets and associated infrastructure. The successful candidate will operate plant and trucks on pavement asset maintenance tasks as well as utilise proprietary software to capture maintenance data.

Key responsibilities include assessing the condition of roads and determining the most appropriate method of repair and maintenance. Additionally, the operator will be required to perform routine checks and maintenance tasks on equipment to ensure optimal performance.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • School Certificate (Year 10) or equivalent
  • SafeWork NSW General Construction Induction Card (White Card)
  • Traffic Controller Qualification
  • Implement Traffic Control Plans Qualification
  • NSW RMS Heavy Rigid (HR) Licence
  • HLTAID003 - Provide First Aid

The ideal candidate will have proven recent experience working with Skid Steers, Backhoe Loaders and rollers in pavement asset maintenance activities or similar. They will also possess excellent driving skills, particularly in operating Heavy Combination (HC) vehicles.
