We are seeking a skilled Heavy Plant Maintenance Technician to join our team, responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our equipment and facilities.

The successful candidate will have experience with mechanical fitting, forklift operation, and high-risk tickets. They will be responsible for maintenance work on conveyors, crushers, and fixed plant equipment, as well as attending to machine breakdowns and performing welding tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintenance on heavy machinery and plant equipment
  • Daily maintenance checks on machines and conveyors
  • Attending to machine breakdowns and performing repairs
  • Welding and metalwork
  • Forklift operation and management

Requirements:

  • Trade Certificate - Mechanical Fitter
  • Forklift Licence (LF)
  • EWP over 11m - High Risk Ticket
  • Minimum 3 years experience conducting maintenance checks on Machines & Conveyors
  • Previous experience conducting start up operational checks, on all machines
  • Maintenance experience on heavy plant equipment
