About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Commercial Credit Analyst to join our team at Lumi, a fast-growing non-bank lender providing business loans and lines of credit to small-medium-sized enterprises (SMEs).

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct detailed credit analysis of complex commercial applications to ensure key risks are mitigated and material assumptions are verified.
  • Make recommendations to the Deal Review Committee supported by credit analysis and credit calls that meet policy and quality requirements.
  • Assist Credit Managers with the review of assessments conducted by junior members of the team to ensure minimum required quality is met.
  • Provide timely feedback to junior credit analysts to assist with upskilling and improvement of the credit team.
  • Build and maintain effective relationships with members of the sales team.
  • Assist credit managers in upskilling the sales team by delivering constructive feedback on the quality of credit submissions and data collection.
Requirements
  • Commercial credit experience in decisioning deals up to $5 mil.
  • Previously held significant delegation is a must.
  • Experience in coaching and mentoring junior credit analysts.
  • Demonstrated initiative, drive, enthusiasm, and a team player.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills.
  • High attention to detail.
  • Ability to work well with other people and build good relationships.
