AgTech Innovation Specialist

BioScout's pioneering technology detects airborne crop disease through daily spore sampling and analysis, transforming the agriculture landscape in Australia and beyond.


We are accelerating growth, expanding into new markets, and enhancing our user base. This innovative system unites environmental sampling, microscopy, and data analytics to reveal hidden patterns in agriculture.
Main Responsibilities:
  • Design and Develop a robust REST API using C# .NET
  • Create end-to-end solutions from data structures to UI components that drive customer value
  • Develop Frontend Projects, both internal and customer-facing, written in Typescript/React
  • Break down complex requirements into actionable tasks for the team
  • Make informed product decisions, leveraging thought leadership for groundbreaking innovations
  • Write clean, testable, and well-documented code across the tech stack
  • Contribute to code reviews and technical discussions to elevate the team's performance
  • Collaborate closely with Mechatronics, Data & ML engineers to optimize platform performance, scalability, and reliability

This is a challenging full-stack role within a dynamic multidisciplinary engineering team. You'll focus on optimizing APIs, infrastructure, and CI/CD pipelines or implement user interfaces in React for external or internal customers.
Key Qualifications:
  • 3-5+ years of experience working on .NET and strong system design principles
  • Experience working with Entity Framework Core
  • Modern CI/CD platform expertise
  • 2-3+ years of experience working with React/Typescript
  • Hands-on cloud infrastructure experience
  • Strong Communication Skills and a collaborative mindset
  • A bias for shipping high-quality products quickly
  • Confidence in making product choices for the team
