About The Role

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Leasing Manager. This position will oversee the management of commercial leasing for our existing clients while also focusing on market engagement and business development to attract new clients. Reporting to the Client Relationship Manager, the successful candidate will lead their team, cultivate strong working relationships with key client personnel, and manage daily client operations for the assigned properties. An attractive salary package is available for the right candidate, with the role offering flexibility to work from various locations.

Key Responsibilities Will Include
  • Oversee a designated portfolio within the client's portfolio to fulfill and exceed all contractual obligations
  • Supervise leasing administrators/coordinators within your client group
  • Negotiate new leases, lease renewals, options, and market rent reviews to achieve optimal outcomes for the client
  • Develop business cases for relevant leasing transactions
  • Conduct market approaches and associated business development activities
  • Maintain precise records on leasing-related services and activities, providing accurate reports while adhering to established procedures
  • Perform market sweeps and searches as necessary
  • Manage daily leasing tasks, assisting the broader team and clients with leasing inquiries
  • Interpret lease documents and offer guidance to both internal and external stakeholders
  • Ensure compliance with responsibilities and limits as outlined in the Property Management Service Agreement and relevant legislation
  • Coordinate with legal professionals to prepare and execute lease documents
  • Engage with clients and their consultants regularly to ensure key requirements are met
  • Proactively develop and maintain client relationships to exceed service delivery expectations
  • Organize and participate in regular meetings concerning your portfolio and key event dates
  • Prepare reports in accordance with contract requirements and any additional requests
  • Conduct property inspections as needed
  • Provide guidance and support to Property and Lease Administrators
  • Encourage a collaborative environment that fosters teamwork, cooperation, performance excellence, and personal success
About You

The ideal candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities with a positive attitude. The following qualifications and experiences are preferred:

  • Previous experience in a transaction or leasing-related role
  • Strong understanding of Commonwealth Policies, including the PGPA and LAA Act
  • Tertiary qualification in Property, Business, or relevant equivalent experience
  • Excellent communication skills, including strong presentation and verbal abilities
  • Self-motivated, confident, and energetic
  • Adaptable to rapidly changing situations
  • Goal-oriented with a focus on achieving performance targets
  • Open to innovative ideas and willing to challenge the status quo
