About the Role

We are seeking an experienced AP6 Senior Leasing Officer to support the strategic management of a diverse national property portfolio, focusing on acquisitions, leasing, and disposals.

This role plays a key part in driving sustainable commercial outcomes and contributing to long-term portfolio asset planning.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with strategic property portfolio management, including acquisitions, leasing, and disposals.
  • Support property lease negotiations, acquisitions, and divestments.
  • Develop leasing strategies to improve asset management and drive efficiency.
  • Prepare briefs, reports, and correspondence to inform property decisions.
  • Maintain leasing data to ensure compliance and portfolio optimisation.
  • Manage property-related procurements, including leasing and divestments.
  • Collaborate with Property Service Providers, monitoring performance and compliance.
  • Provide strategic advice to senior executives and stakeholders.
  • Engage with internal and external stakeholders to achieve successful outcomes.
  • Identify and implement improvements in business management practices.
Key Skills & Experience
  • Proven experience in commercial leasing and/or contract management.
  • Knowledge of the Public Governance, Performance and Accountability Act 2013.
  • Familiarity with the Commonwealth Property Management Framework.
  • Strong initiative and judgement in policy interpretation and problem-solving.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Analytical mindset with attention to detail.
  • Experience leading and mentoring staff.
  • Security clearance (Baseline) or ability to obtain.
