Residential Property Attendant Job Summary

Maintain high-quality, safe housing as a residential property attendant. This role involves hands-on work with residents and diverse responsibilities in a friendly team environment.

About the Position: We are seeking a reliable and dedicated individual to manage the upkeep of our residential properties. Key responsibilities include:

  • Performing general handyperson tasks (minor repairs, painting, upkeep)
  • Daily cleaning to maintain neat and hygienic residential areas
  • Supporting preventative maintenance programs and liaising with contractors
  • Conducting regular site inspections and reporting issues
  • Assisting with resident move-in's and move outs
  • Responding promptly to resident service requests
  • Providing friendly, professional customer service with a diverse range of residents
  • Ensuring safe working practices in line with health and safety policies

About You: To be successful in this role, you will need experience in handyperson, caretaking or janitorial roles, strong planning, organisation and time management abilities, good communication and interpersonal skills, and a commitment to providing quality housing solutions.

Key Requirements:

  • Experience in handyperson, caretaking or janitorial roles
  • Strong planning, organisation and time management abilities
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to take responsibility, work independently and manage multiple tasks to completion
  • Basic IT skills (e.g. property management software, email)
  • A Green/White WHS construction induction card (or willingness to obtain)
  • A current Drivers Licence (mandatory)
