Physical Testing Laboratory Technicians

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Physical Testing Laboratory Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting physical tests on coal samples, ensuring accuracy and precision in their work.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To conduct physical tests on coal samples, including sample preparation, sizing, crushing, dividing and sample storage
  • To transfer validated results into the reporting system
  • To maintain calibration and perform maintenance on specialized equipment

Requirements:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required
  • Relevant work experience in a laboratory setting is an asset
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail

Eligibility:

  • Must be an Australian Citizen, Permanent Resident or hold a valid working visa
  • Pre-employment medical exam is required, including drug and alcohol assessment
