Childcare Professional Opportunity

We are seeking a Childcare Professional to join our team at Goodstart Early Learning. This role combines culinary expertise with childcare responsibilities, providing an opportunity for individuals to make a lasting impact on young lives.
Salary and BenefitsThe estimated salary for this position is $55,000 - $65,000 per annum, depending on experience. In addition to competitive pay, we offer 50% discount off childcare fees, paid parental leave, and a range of professional development opportunities.
Job DescriptionIn the Educator Role, you will contribute to the education program in the room and support the centre team as a lunch-cover float Educator. Your duties will include actively engaging and supervising children, maintaining a safe environment, building strong relationships with families, and complying with National Quality Standards and Goodstart policies.
In the Cook role, you will prepare meals that cater to special dietary requirements and allergies, use your creativity to plan menus, and maintain high standards of food safety. You will work closely with the Centre Director to ensure smooth operations.
Required Skills and QualificationsTo be successful in this role, you will need a Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood (or ACECQA approved equivalent), strong knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Standards, and a current QLD Working with Children Check.
