Are you passionate about providing top-notch care for children and preparing nutritious meals that delight their taste buds? We have an exciting opportunity at Goodstart Early Learning for a Childcare Educator and Chef to join our Burpengary team

About the Role

This part-time position offers the flexibility of working 15 hours per week, with a balance of cooking responsibilities and supporting the education program. As our Centre Cook, you will be responsible for preparing meals that cater to special dietary requirements and allergies, using your creativity and organisational skills to plan menus and order food supplies.

  • Salary: At least $5% above the award rate (estimated $35-40 per hour based on a 38-hour workweek)

In the Educator role, you will actively contribute to the education program, engage and supervise children, maintain a safe environment, build strong relationships with families, and support continuous improvement.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need a Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood (or ACECQA approved equivalent), strong knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Standards, and a current QLD Working with Children Check.
