Early Childhood Educator and Cook Opportunity

About This Role
We are seeking an experienced Early Childhood Educator and Cook to join our team at Goodstart Burpengary Rowley Road. As a valued member of our centre, you will have the opportunity to make a lasting impact on the lives of Australian children and their families.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook delicious meals for children with special dietary requirements and allergies
- Plan menus and order food supplies in consultation with the Centre Director
- Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene
- Actively contribute to the education program in the room and centre team as a lunch-cover float Educator
- Engage and supervise children at all times
- Maintain a safe environment for children, families, and team members
- Build and maintain strong, positive relationships with children and families
- Comply with National Quality Standards and Goodstart policies and procedures
About You
- Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood (or ACECQA approved equivalent)
- Strong knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Standards
- Current QLD Working with Children Check
