Skilled Hydraulic Equipment Specialist

About this role
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Hydraulic Mechanical Fitter to join our team at Port Hedland. As a key member of our close-knit team, you will be responsible for the efficient assessment and service/repair of specialized equipment supplied to our customers.
- Fault find and problem solve
- Conduct equipment strip/assess and service/repair activities
- Become involved in planned Test, Tag and Calibration of Customer equipment asset management programs
- Compile work activity summaries which are key to Customer reporting requirements
- Provide excellent Customer Service
- Be part of a small Branch team and assist/support team members as needed
- Complete planned and preventative maintenance on machines
- Assist with technical services and maintenance work
- Provide advice on maintenance issues
About you
- Australian Recognised Trade Certificate (Cert III or above)
- Australian Drivers licence
- An ability to proactively work in a fast-paced environment
- Disciplined attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong organisation and team working skills
- Work in an autonomous manner with a dynamic and flexible team
- Ability to read hydraulic drawings
- Basic hydraulic and electrical experience advantageous
