Hydraulic Fitter Job Description

The ideal candidate for this CASUAL Hydraulic Mechanical Fitter role should have a strong work ethic and safety focus.

  • Fault find and solve equipment issues.
  • Conduct equipment strip, assess, and service/repair activities.
  • Participate in planned Test, Tag and Calibration of Customer equipment asset management programs.
  • Compile work activity summaries for Customer reporting requirements.
  • Provide excellent Customer Service.
  • Support/assist team members as part of a small Branch team.
  • Complete planned and preventative maintenance on machines.
  • Assist with technical services and maintenance work.
  • Provide advice on maintenance issues.

Responsibilities:

  1. Perform thorough diagnostics and repairs on hydraulic equipment.
  2. Collaborate with colleagues to achieve branch goals and objectives.
  3. Develop and implement effective maintenance strategies.
  4. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  5. Build strong relationships with Customers to provide exceptional service.

Requirements:

  • Australian Recognised Trade Certificate (Cert III or above).
  • Australian Drivers Licence.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Disciplined attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong organisation and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously within a dynamic and flexible team.
  • Ability to read hydraulic drawings.
  • Basic hydraulic and electrical experience advantageous.
