Childcare Educator Wanted

We are currently seeking a dedicated and passionate Childcare Educator to join our team at St Brigid's OSHC in Rosewood.

Job Description

A Childcare Educator is responsible for delivering high-quality care and education to primary school-aged children in a safe, inclusive, and engaging environment.

The successful candidate will play an integral role in creating a welcoming and supportive atmosphere where children can thrive, while also providing opportunities for children to develop their social, emotional, and cognitive skills.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing nurturing care and support to children
  • Ensuring a safe and secure environment that promotes children's physical and emotional well-being
  • Developing and implementing educational programs that cater to the diverse needs of children
  • Maintaining positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Certificate III or Diploma in Children Services (or working towards) or ACECQA equivalent
  • A current Queensland Blue Card (Working with Children Check)
  • A passion for childcare and education, with a focus on child-led learning
  • Knowledge and understanding of the National Quality Framework, My Time Our Place, or Early Years Learning Framework, and National Law / Regulations
