Care Team Leader

The role of a Care Team Leader is pivotal in providing expert leadership to their team, aligning with the organization's mission and goals.

About the Role:

The Care Team Leader is responsible for leading, supporting, and mentoring their team, working collaboratively with other care professionals to deliver high-quality care to clients.

  • The role ensures that staff have a thorough understanding of individual client needs and preferences, providing tailored services within service expectations.
  • The Care Team Leader also manages the recruitment of new Care Workers, ensuring all necessary training and resources are available.
Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A Certificate IV in Aged Care (Desirable), or a related degree, and a minimum of 2 years relevant industry experience.
  • Knowledge of Home Care Packages Program, CHSP services, Aged Care Quality Standards, and Commonwealth Home Support Programme.
  • Performance coaching experience and management of a team in a multi-site environment.
  • A current driver's licence and safe driving record, with willingness to travel between locations.
  • Strong organisational, administrative, and computer skills.
  • Empathy and patience.
