Discipline Manager Role Overview

We're seeking an experienced Discipline Manager to lead our Building Services business unit nationally. This role offers an exciting opportunity to shape and develop our mechanical, electrical, fire protection, and hydraulics capability to deliver exceptional outcomes for clients across key sectors.

The successful candidate will report to the National Business Leader for Design and Engineering and work closely with senior technical leaders to provide strategic leadership, manage, and supervise our Places Australia - Buildings Services teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide visionary leadership to drive growth, innovation, and excellence in our Design & Engineering Business.
  • Foster strong relationships with new and existing clients to ensure Arcadis meets their needs while achieving commercial objectives.
  • Deliver expert guidance and solutions to complex problems, driving client satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Mentor and develop a high-performing team, ensuring they have the skills and support needed to excel.
Requirements and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • Extensive experience in buildings projects from an engineering perspective.
  • Ideal experience in commercial development and healthcare, with a strong network in the industry.
  • Well-developed commercial skills, including sales, business development, and entrepreneurship expertise.
  • An established local network and a track record of delivering exceptional service and solutions.
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications, with postgraduate qualifications highly regarded.
  • Proven leadership skills, with the ability to influence, motivate, and delegate effectively.

Estimated Salary Range

$120,000 - $180,000 per annum, depending on location and experience.
