Remote Dialysis Nurse - Opportunity to Make a Difference

The Northern Territory Remote Locum Program is an initiative dedicated to enhancing healthcare services in remote communities across the Northern Territory.

Experienced dialysis nurses are sought to provide high-quality care to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people in remote NT communities. This locum-based role offers short-term placements where you will work on-site in remote clinics, delivering culturally sensitive care in collaboration with Aboriginal Health Practitioners, General Practitioners, nurses, and support staff.

Requirements
  • Qualification/s and minimum 2 years of haemodialysis nursing experience.
  • Current AHPRA registration.
  • Certification in Basic Life Support.
  • Current National Criminal History Check (less than 6 months old).
  • Unrestricted driver's license.
  • Up-to-date immunisation status, including COVID-19, Hepatitis A & B, MMR, Varicella, BCG, Influenza, and Pertussis.
