Nursing Opportunity in Haemodialysis

Our hospital is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Satellite Dialysis Team at Royal North Shore Hospital. As a valued member of the team, you will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating nursing care for patients receiving haemodialysis and haemodiafiltration.

You will work collaboratively with individual patients and the greater healthcare team to achieve quality patient care outcomes.

The key responsibilities include:

  • Assessing patients' physical and emotional needs
  • Developing and implementing individualised care plans
  • Maintaining accurate records and reporting results
  • Working effectively within a multi-disciplinary team

Essential Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • Registration as a Registered Nurse with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
  • Experience in patient assessment and planning care for dialysis patients
  • Knowledge of vascular access surveillance techniques
  • Effective interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
