We are seeking a visionary educator to lead our academic learning programs as Deputy Director of Academic Learning.

About the Role:

  • Design and deliver high-quality, forward-thinking curriculum across Years 7-12.
  • Promote evidence-informed teaching practice across campuses.
  • Drive alignment in assessment, reporting, and learning management systems for excellence in teaching and learning.
  • Maintain rigorous metrics for student achievement and compliance with educational standards.
  • Use data and quality assurance processes to monitor progress, evaluate impact, and enhance outcomes for all learners.
  • Represent the School in academic and community forums, building strong networks and sharing best practices.

About You:

  • A seasoned expert in leading curriculum and pedagogy, with a passion for innovation and excellence.
  • Able to create conditions where staff feel supported, challenged, and empowered to excel.
  • Strategic thinker with experience in pedagogy and staff development.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to build trust and foster collaboration across campuses.
  • Hold current VIT registration and demonstrate leadership experience.
