Child Mental Health Therapist

We are seeking a skilled mental health professional to join our team in providing early intervention and therapy services to children and families.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct standardized clinical assessments to determine goals and areas of need.
- Provide information, education, and support to clients and families on evidence-based therapeutic interventions and resources.
- Develop functional, routine-based goals with clients and families in collaboration with key stakeholders.
- Review progress and set new priorities in collaboration with clients and families, ensuring ongoing communication and support.
- Support inclusion and participation in community activities through continuous evaluation and review.
- Tertiary qualifications in Psychology with current registration with AHPRA, demonstrating expertise in counseling and knowledge of therapeutic interventions.
- A passion for making therapy fun, engaging, and meaningful for families through creative approaches.
- The ability to provide high-quality counseling services and offer knowledge of therapeutic interventions to children, young people, and parents, including risk assessments and mental health assessments.
- Compliance with necessary checks and certifications, including AHPRA registration, Working with Children Check, National Police Check, NDIS workers screening check, Covid-19 vaccination certificate or exemption, First Aid Training, and possession of a Driver's License and Vehicle.
