Getting on Track In Time (Got It) is a vibrant, school-based early intervention program that focuses on nurturing social and emotional wellbeing, and works with children, parents, carers, and school staff to prevent behavioural challenges before they escalate. It empowers parents with practical skills, strengthens the support systems within schools, and fosters a community-wide approach to child development. From engaging learning groups for Kindergarten to Year 2 students, to tailored parenting programs and whole-school education initiatives, every aspect of Got It is designed to meet the unique needs of each school community. As part of a passionate multidisciplinary team, this role offers the chance to collaborate with local child and family services and contribute to a program that\u2019s rewarding and impactful.

Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with local child and family services and contribute to the Got It program.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop, deliver and evaluate group programs.
  • Availability to run evening groups during school terms as required.
  • Work as part of a multidisciplinary team with high-level communication and interpersonal skills.
What You Will Bring To The Role
  • Recognised tertiary qualifications in Psychology, Social Work, or Occupational Therapy, with current registration with AHPRA (psychology/occupational therapy) or eligibility for membership of AASW.
  • Significant post-graduate experience providing assessment and intervention to children and their families presenting with mental health needs using evidence-based approaches.
  • Demonstrated understanding of child development, and the effects of trauma on child mental health.
  • Experience and skill in developing, delivering and evaluating group programs.
  • High level communication and interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to work as a member of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with a range of key stakeholders.
  • Availability to run evening groups during school term as required.
  • Current Driver\'s License and willingness to use for work-related travel.
