
Comprehensive Mental Health Practitioner

The Allied Health Clinician will work as part of a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive assessment and intervention services for children and their families presenting with mental health needs.
This role involves collaborating with local child and family services, developing and delivering evidence-based group programs, and evaluating their effectiveness in improving mental health outcomes.
The ideal candidate will possess recognised tertiary qualifications in Psychology, Social Work or Occupational Therapy, with current registration with AHPRA (psychology/occupational therapy) or eligibility for membership of AASW.
Significant post-graduate experience providing assessment and intervention to children and their families is essential, along with a demonstrated understanding of child development and the effects of trauma on child mental health.
The successful applicant will also possess high level communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with key stakeholders.
A flexible approach to working hours is required, with availability to run evening groups during school term as needed. A current Driver's License is mandatory for this position.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide assessment and intervention services to children and their families

- Maintain accurate records and reports
The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and qualifications:
