This is a compelling opportunity for an experienced Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist to deliver high-quality mental health services in a dynamic environment.
The successful applicant will be based at Nepean Hospital, providing community mental health care to young people up to 17 years.
Our goal is to provide exceptional community mental health care for young people with moderate to severe mental health issues, underpinned by evidence-informed and therapeutic approaches.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high quality mental health services in a psychiatry setting.
- Collaborate and work effectively in interprofessional contexts.
- Provide guidance and supervision to medical staff, non-medical colleagues, and students.
- Participate in quality improvement and clinical governance activities.
Selection Criteria:
• Registration with AHPRA;
• Fellowship of RANZCP or equivalent;
• Advanced Certificate of Training in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry;
• Current NSW driver's licence;
• Demonstrated commitment to Continuing Professional Development and reflective practice.
