Business Analyst

Credit Union Australia is on the lookout for experienced Business Analysts to join our dynamic Enterprise Delivery team on a 12-month max-term basis.

The Enterprise Delivery team collaborates closely to support and guide our stakeholders, applying the delivery lifecycle to initiatives that empower Credit Union Australia to achieve its strategic goals.

As a Business Analyst, you will be responsible for identifying and implementing process enhancements that drive efficiency and cost-effectiveness.

This role offers the flexibility to work from home two days a week.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Define, plan, prepare, and facilitate workshops with stakeholders while collaborating across all levels of the organization to gather business and solution requirements.
  • Engage with diverse stakeholders, including Product, Legal, UX, technical delivery teams, and vendors to gather and communicate requirements effectively.
  • Facilitate, negotiate, and mediate collaboratively to reach desired outcomes.
  • Establish strong working relationships with key stakeholders to gain a comprehensive understanding of business needs and priorities.
  • Develop productive relationships with external suppliers, negotiating to achieve favorable outcomes for our organization.
  • Lead, advise, and communicate proactively with all stakeholders to ensure a mutual understanding and successful results.
  • Assist the Product Owner in backlog management and prioritization of initiatives.
  • Support multiple projects at various stages of the delivery lifecycle.
About You:

  • 5+ years of experience in large strategic programs as a Business Analyst across diverse environments utilizing both traditional and iterative delivery methodologies.
  • Strong business analysis skills, including requirements gathering, modeling, and options analysis.
  • A solid understanding (or willingness to learn) of banking products, particularly transaction products.
  • A degree in Management, Business, IT, or a related field.
  • Certification in Agile, MSP, or similar methodologies will be viewed favorably.
