Job Opportunity:

Experienced Registered Midwives are sought to deliver high-quality midwifery care in a dynamic Women's Health Unit.

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled and passionate Registered Midwife to join our multidisciplinary team and contribute to the provision of exceptional patient care in Central Queensland.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality, individualized midwifery care to patients in the labour ward and birth suite
  • Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to ensure seamless patient care and achieve optimal outcomes
  • Maintain accurate records and participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient safety and satisfaction

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 3 years' experience in women's health nursing/midwifery
  • Proven labour ward and birth suite experience essential
  • Familiarity with ieMR system and proficiency in its use desirable
  • Previous experience working in Australia, QLD Health, and/or Mackay HHS advantageous
