Job Opportunity:

We are seeking a registered nurse to join our team in the Division of Paediatric Medicine.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide nursing and/or midwifery services in health service settings.
  • Develop from novice practitioners to a proficient level of professional practice, consolidating knowledge and skills through continuous professional development and experience.
  • Accept accountability for own standards of nursing/midwifery care and activities delegated to others.
About You:
  • Registered or eligible for registration as a Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia, holding a current practicing certificate.
  • Demonstrated competence in the relevant area of nursing practice, in accordance with appropriate standards of practice.
  • Effective communication skills, including problem solving, conflict resolution, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
  • Knowledge and understanding of the role of the Registered General Nurse/Midwife within a healthcare setting.
