Hospitality Operations Director for Pacific

The successful candidate will be in charge of managing the Sofitel, MGallery and Emblems hotels in Australia, New Zealand and Fiji, representing today over 20 hotels (over 4,500 rooms) to achieve the company's objectives in terms of operational excellence, financial targets, talent management and ESG leadership.
You will be an Ambassador for Sofitel, MGallery and Emblems brands in the Pacific region and will report to our SVP Operations Asia Pacific, based in Singapore. In this role, you will represent La Maison in different forums, to develop visibility, notoriety and results for our brands.
You will be an active participant in the development of new Sofitel, MGallery and Emblems projects in the Pacific region, and renewal of existing hotels.
Maintain corporate relationships with owners, owning companies, investors, asset managers and hospitality advisors. Establish Financial, Reputation and Compliance goals of the hotels and provide regular reporting on performance. Ensure performance goals and plans are in place for each hotel to achieve the annual budget targets. Conduct regular reviews with GMs to ensure KPI achievement. Develop and implement business strategy planning to reflect the short, medium- and long-term business goals of La Maison Sofitel, MGallery and Emblems in the areas of Network Growth, Hotel Results, Fees, People, ESG supported by the mobilisation of the regional central resource functions. Oversee operational strategic project development process from conception, implementation and delivery. Accompany and support the Business Development Strategy for the region, including sourcing and actively supporting new hotel developments, renewal of existing agreements as part of the lifecycle management process, including as needed the property improvement planning. Represent La Maison Sofitel, MGallery and Emblems at regional events and industry advisory groups, develop partnerships and visibility in accordance with the objectives of each brand in the region. Requirements:You are a leader with a track record of at least 5 years in hospitality operations on a regional role in Pacific and at least 10 years of experience as hotel General Manager in the Pacific region.
