Finance Graduate Opportunity

The role of Finance Graduate is an exciting opportunity for individuals to develop their skills and knowledge in the field of finance. As a graduate, you will be responsible for conducting thorough analyses of project costs and budgets, ensuring accurate forecasting and financial planning.

  • Use accounting tools such as Oracle ERP, IBM TM1, Deltek Cobra, or Excel to track project expenses and generate detailed financial reports.
  • Assist in preparing and posting journal entries, perform account reconciliations to verify the integrity of financial statements and project ledgers, identifying discrepancies and ensuring compliance with financial regulations.
  • Oversee the invoicing process for projects to ensure timely and accurate billing, while maintaining compliance with contractual agreements and financial regulations.
  • Present complex financial information to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner, supporting informed decision-making.
  • Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team in a conscientious and inclusive manner to support project objectives and enhance financial outcomes.
  • Assist in preparing financial statements and support the audit process by gathering necessary documentation and data, ensuring compliance with accounting standards.
  • Help with accounts payable payment audits by preparing documentation, verifying transactions, and ensuring timely processing of payments to vendors in accordance with financial regulations.

Applicants must hold a tertiary degree qualification in Business, Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Commerce, and be Australian Citizens to meet Defence security requirements.
