Key Business Opportunities

The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying and pursuing business opportunities aligned with corporate goals, managing sales pipelines, preparing and negotiating proposals, and acting as the primary contact for contract logistics sales enquiries.

Key responsibilities include building and maintaining strong customer relationships, contributing to tender writing, providing valuable customer feedback to operational teams, and staying informed on industry trends and competitors.

Accountability and Responsibility
  • Plan and deliver targeted sales activities, lead high-level negotiations, pricing, and contract finalisation to drive profitable deal closures.
  • Maintain accurate records, manage customer interactions, and oversee onboarding to ensure excellent customer solutions and satisfaction.
  • Generate, nurture, and manage a robust sales pipeline with short, medium, and long-term opportunities aligned to business strategy.
  • Track and analyse KPIs, forecasts, and budgets to optimise revenue streams and support strategic sales planning.
Essential Skills and Qualifications
  • 5+ year's experience in Sales, Marketing, or Business Development, with proven success in business development and senior-level customer management.
  • Degree qualified, with additional business management training considered an advantage.
  • Strong knowledge of Supply Chain and Logistics Operating Models, including pricing and rate cards, with 5+ years focused on Contract Logistics sales development.
