Job Opportunity:

We are inviting applications for a key role in our business, focusing on category management and commercial development. This is an ideal position for those looking to take their career to the next level, particularly Category Managers or Buyers with experience in commercial product sourcing.

The successful candidate will possess excellent business acumen, strong analytical skills, and be able to interpret market trends to drive sales growth. They should also have a passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences by offering the most sought-after products.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Identify opportunities for category expansion through sourcing new products and developing existing ones
  • Establish relationships with suppliers of world-class brands and Kogan.com's Exclusive Brands
  • Foster effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders to achieve strategic outcomes
  • Optimize logistics, warehousing, and shipping processes for each product
  • Maintain high profitability across all products by demonstrating a deep understanding of the category and market
  • Pursue continuous improvement in the category, seeking innovative solutions to meet customer demands
  • Negotiate the best possible trading terms and prices
  • Develop and execute promotional strategies and price changes across various sales channels, contributing to pricing reviews as needed
  • Efficiently source and purchase products, ensuring timely stock management and customer demand fulfillment
  • Monitor inventory levels to meet company goals and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
