Job Description

This role involves overseeing the online presence and engagement of a brand across various social media platforms, product review sites, online communities, and industry events. The successful candidate will create and deliver exciting content to engage with these communities and help them grow.

You'll own the online voice by monitoring and responding to conversations, identifying critical or cultural moments that are important to customers and the business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Be the frontline voice for the brand on social media, shaping conversation, creating and executing content strategies, and responding to questions in real-time.
  • Manage handles, monitor, and engage with customers in conversation online across various platforms.
  • Assess inbound mentions and respond to customer inquiries or issues, in partnership with the Customer Success team.
  • Maintain social media calendars, project management workflows, post publishing, and analytics across platforms.
  • Identify opportunities to insert the brand into relevant conversations with speed and authenticity.
  • Create or source high-impact social content from customers and team members to promote the brand to business owners and future colleagues.
  • Build a rich content strategy, focusing on video and audio, ahead of what will deliver the best online engagement.
  • Manage social listening efforts and identify relevant moments that are important to customers or impactful for the brand.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • 3 years of professional experience in social media management, scaling online communities via a brand or agency.
  • Demonstrable expertise in creating relevant content that aligns with current trends and audience needs.
  • Can write and edit clearly and accurately.
  • Comfort designing simple visual assets using existing templates and guidelines, with support from the in-house design team.
  • Approach challenges with a proactive, solutions-focused mindset.
  • Experience using social media listening and publishing tools.
