A healthcare companion plays a vital role in providing person-centred care to clients in their home, supporting daily living tasks and wellbeing. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and caring professional to make a positive impact on the lives of others.


Key Responsibilities
  • Provide person-centred care, including daily living tasks, personal hygiene, and moving and handling.
  • Support the client's independence by assisting with daily routines and activities.
  • Respect the client's preferences regarding gender of staff where requested.

Requirements
  • At least 3 months' experience in a care setting.
  • Confident with medication administration, personal care, and moving and handling.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Pet friendly environment.
