Care for the Older Adult

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate specialist in geriatric care to join our team. In this role, you will deliver high-quality clinical care across a range of settings.

You will work closely with multidisciplinary teams to enhance patient outcomes and contribute to care of the older adult in a subacute environment following their acute admission who are on an residential aged care trajectory.

This role also offers the opportunity to engage in teaching, research, and quality improvement initiatives.

About You

  • Specialist Qualifications & Experience – Must be eligible for registration as specialist General Practitioner or a Specialist in Geriatric Medicine.
  • Experience in geriatric medicine, including experience in residential aged care and dementia services is essential.
  • Leadership & Communication Skills – Proven ability to supervise, train, and mentor staff while fostering a positive and collaborative team environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with colleagues, patients, and the wider community.
