Key Role: Character Modeler Lead Animator

Crafting high-quality animation rigs for characters, creatures and vehicles is a crucial aspect of this position. The successful candidate will develop, test and maintain complex motion and deformation set-ups, collaborating closely with the Modelling team and Rigging Supervisors to deliver exceptional results.

Required skills include thorough knowledge of body anatomy, facial expression and object-oriented programming principles, as well as experience with industry-standard software such as Maya and Python or Mel scripting.

Primary responsibilities include:

  • Developing innovative techniques to create efficient and effective rigs
  • Implementing proprietary tools to streamline rig creation processes
  • Collaborating with Animation teams to develop intuitive motion systems and character deformation solutions

A successful candidate will possess proven expertise in major character or creature projects, strong visual and artistic skills, and excellent time management and organizational abilities.
