Job Opportunity

We are seeking a Character TD / Rigging TD to collaborate on major character or creature projects in Sydney.

The ideal candidate will have substantial experience with keyframe animation, thorough knowledge of their area of character specialization, and the ability to develop intuitive motion systems and character deformation in collaboration with animators.

Key qualifications include:

  • Substantial experience with keyframe animation and/or rigid body dynamics
  • Thorough knowledge of your area of character specialization (body anatomy, facial expression, object-oriented scripting, tool management)
  • Ability to develop intuitive motion systems and character deformation in collaboration with animators
  • Proficiency in Maya with programming skills using Python or Mel
  • Strong visual and artistic skills, and ability to handle technical aspects of character/creature work where applicable

Nice to have:

  • Programming/scripting skills (Python, Maya API, C++) for module and tool development
  • Cloth Simulation experience using nCloth, Houdini, or similar
  • Experience in Unreal Engine or other real-time rendering software
