Bakery Supervisor Position
This role involves overseeing a pastry production team in a high-volume setting. The successful candidate will have prior experience leading similar teams, with a strong emphasis on food safety protocols and a proactive approach to maintaining a safe working environment.
Key responsibilities include:
- Safeguarding staff by ensuring they are aware of their duties and follow proper procedures;
- Leading a team of up to 20 in a fast-paced environment;
- Maintaining effective communication with staff, management, and other departments;
- Monitoring and improving processes to ensure high-quality products;
- Performing routine cleaning and maintenance tasks to ensure equipment and facilities are in good working order;
- Adapting to changing priorities and deadlines;
The ideal candidate will possess:
- Leadership experience: a minimum of 1 year in a similar role;
- Patisserie experience: a minimum of 1 year in a patisserie or bakery environment;
- Physical demands: ability to lift up to 25kg, stand for long periods, and perform repetitive tasks;
