The primary goal of this role is to develop, deliver, coordinate, and facilitate education programs that enhance services. Participants must acquire the knowledge and skills necessary to deliver high-quality care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver accredited and non-accredited education programs to achieve service enhancement goals.
- Provide subject matter expertise and ensure resources are evidence-informed and current.
- Coordinate and facilitate education programs for professionals.
- Ensure participants have acquired the necessary knowledge and skills to deliver high-quality care.
Requirements:
- Extensive experience in bereavement counseling or a related field.
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or willingness to obtain it within two years.
- At least five years' experience as a counselor and two years teaching at tertiary level or within an RTO.
- Eligibility for membership of a relevant professional association.
- A strong understanding of grief and bereavement literature and evidence-based practice.
