Job Title: Early Childhood Educator

Job Description:

As a dedicated and experienced educator, you will play a vital role in shaping the educational experiences of young children and fostering their growth and development. You will be responsible for developing and implementing engaging learning programs that cater to the diverse needs of students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement lesson plans that align with curriculum standards and promote student engagement.
  • Create a safe and inclusive learning environment that encourages social interaction, emotional intelligence, and physical activity.
  • Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback and guidance to support their learning journey.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement school-wide initiatives that promote academic excellence and student well-being.
  • Build strong relationships with parents and guardians through regular communication and collaboration to support student learning.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation of student progress, adhering to relevant laws and regulations.
  • Pursue ongoing professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices in education and child development.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of teaching practices and student outcomes by participating in peer review and professional learning communities.

Required Qualifications & Certifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in early childhood education or a related field.
  • Qualifications suitable for a teacher under relevant legislation.
  • Current registration with the Victorian Institute of Teaching.
  • Police Check completed within the last 6 months.
  • Current First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis, and Asthma management certifications.
