Expert Geriatric Medicine Specialist

A highly skilled and experienced Consultant Physician in Geriatric Medicine is required to lead a progressive service.

About the Role:
  • Deliver high-quality patient care as an expert geriatric medicine specialist.
  • Provide medical leadership and support to junior doctors, advanced trainees, and registrars.
  • Promote innovation in healthcare services, including Geri-Connect and the RADAR service.
  • Contribute to education, clinical governance, and workforce development initiatives.
Key Selection Criteria:
  • Specialist Registration: A qualified medical practitioner registered (or eligible for registration) with the Medical Board of Australia.
  • Fellowship: Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (FRACP) in Geriatric Medicine or equivalent recognised qualification.
  • Experience: Proven 7+ years of clinical experience as a Geriatric Medicine Specialist with demonstrated capacity to manage clinical responsibilities.
