Job Title: Procurement Expert for IT Infrastructure

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Expert to lead our team in managing the procurement of IT infrastructure assets, systems integration providers, and services consulting. This includes developing and managing supplier contracts, resolving problems using vendor and procurement management expertise, and conducting IT vendor management in accordance with government procurement legislation and organizational policies.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Developing and managing procurement documents, including approval documents, requests for quotes, evaluation reports, work orders, and purchase orders.
  • Leading and managing procurement processes, including IT assets, systems integration providers, and services consulting.
  • Collaborating with stakeholders to ensure effective vendor management and supplier relationships.
  • Conducting analysis on cloud spending, identifying cost-saving opportunities, and implementing cost optimization strategies.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in government procurement (Commonwealth), specifically in preparing and reviewing procurement documents.
  • Proven experience leading and managing procurement processes, including IT assets, systems integration providers, and services consulting.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
  • Knowledge and experience of government procurement legislation and organizational policies to conduct IT vendor management.
