Procurement Expert

New Career Opportunities in Procurement | APS4 - EL2 12 months + 1 x 12-month extension option Canberra based Minimum Negative Vetting 1 clearance required.

We are seeking procurement experts to undertake the full scope of procurement activities, including supporting the team to deliver a range of procurement functions and performing a range of procurement functions independently.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the team in delivering procurement functions, including advice, request documents, contract management and administrative support.
  • Independently undertake simple and complex procurement, manage approaches to market to obtain quotes and tenders, and assist the department to meet its statutory obligations by collating and preparing various documentation.

Essential Requirements:

A Certificate IV qualification in Procurement or Diploma of Government experience is essential. We require applicants with extensive knowledge of Commonwealth of Australia procurement procedures.
