Job Summary

The position of Associate Facultative Broker is designed to support the team in Sydney, Aon's Reinsurance Division, in placing Facultative Reinsurance for various clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Implement client production strategies as set by the Head and Deputy Head of the Facultative division.
  • Develop relationships with current carriers and identify potential new carriers.
  • Assist senior facultative brokers to meet revenue goals.
  • Provide high-level client service for effective relationship management.
  • Manage daily client inquiries and keep clients informed on facultative reinsurance placement status.
  • Support colleagues in managing Casualty & Property renewal discussions and placements.
  • Place Facultative Reinsurance, including cover confirmation to clients.
  • Fully comply with E&O policies within the group.
Requirements
  • Solid knowledge of general insurance/reinsurance across commercial classes.
  • Self-discipline and organization with motivation to work under tight deadlines.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
