Food and Beverage Operations Manager

This role is responsible for overseeing the strategic direction of food and beverage operations across multiple sites, ensuring innovative and safe food and beverages are delivered within contract requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a positive work environment where learning and personal development drive quality improvement.
  • Management and leadership of the food and beverage team across various locations in South Australia and Western Australia.
  • Manage catering operations in accordance with contractual obligations while maintaining client and staff satisfaction.
  • Ensure food standards, preparation, presentation, and cooking techniques meet ISS brand standards.
  • Collaborate with the Executive and Head Chef to address any issues that impact food standards and take corrective action when necessary.
  • Maintain the highest possible standard of hygiene and ensure it is practiced by the entire kitchen team to meet Health & Safety regulations and HACCP food preparation guidelines.
  • Develop menus for all routine meal services, private functions, and formal events in line with contractual agreements.
  • Manage food costs and expenses effectively as per onsite contract scope.
  • Regularly review and address client staff feedback and maintenance registers.
  • Process payments received, including recording and reporting.

The ideal candidate will possess at least three years of experience leading and developing a multi-faceted food and beverage business, with a strong focus on exceptional customer service. They will also have demonstrated experience building productive and collaborative relationships with key stakeholders.

Tertiary qualifications in Hospitality Operations, Business, Food and Beverage, or related disciplines are required. The candidate must hold and maintain relevant certifications, including HACCP Level 3, First Aid Certificate – Level 3, Food Safety Supervisor certification, and RSA certificate.

Ability to travel to sites across South Australia and Western Australia is required. This is a full-time role based in a metro Adelaide or Perth office.
