Job Overview

This is a leadership opportunity to drive strategic outcomes in regional planning. You will lead a team in reviewing and implementing regional plans, influencing land use planning, collaborating with stakeholders, and achieving government goals.

Main Responsibilities
  • Develop and deliver regional plans to achieve government objectives.
  • Plan and allocate resources to manage staff, drive productivity, and review performance.
  • Provide leadership, mentorship, coaching, and development to staff to provide advice on land use planning issues.
  • Coordinate research, analysis, and interpretation of complex data to inform regional plan policies.
  • Solve complex problems, build a case for change, and communicate outcomes effectively.
  • Collaborate with senior management, project teams, and external stakeholders.
Additional Responsibilities
  • Coordinate meetings, consultation activities, forums, committees, and negotiations with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Develop and maintain working relationships with key project stakeholders, including federal and state agencies, local governments, and industry associations.
