IT Disaster Recovery Specialist: A Key Role in Enterprise IT Resilience

We are seeking an experienced professional to lead the development and implementation of a comprehensive IT disaster recovery strategy.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Designing, implementing, testing, and continuously improving disaster recovery processes and procedures.
  • Developing and maintaining accurate documentation of disaster recovery plans, including test results and any subsequent updates.

Key Requirements:

  • Demonstrated experience in managing disaster recovery processes, including testing, documentation, decision making, and project transitions.
  • Practical experience in IT disaster recovery planning and execution.
  • Excellent organizational skills, as well as written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience working with diverse stakeholders, including ICT operations, technical, and business operations teams.
  • A baseline security clearance is required.

Desirable Skills:

  • Strategic thinking, setting long-term objectives, identifying potential risks, and using resources efficiently.
  • Complex problem-solving, making recommendations, and considering variables to achieve desired outcomes.
  • Experience working on large-scale transformation programs with multiple vendors.
