About the Role

We are seeking an experienced IT Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity Lead to oversee the development, implementation, testing, and continuous improvement of disaster recovery and business continuity plans and procedures for technology systems.

Key Responsibilities

">
  • Develop and implement disaster recovery and business continuity strategies to minimize downtime and ensure business continuity.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate risks associated with technology systems.
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance on disaster recovery and business continuity initiatives.
  • Manage vendor relationships and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.

Requirements

">
  • At least 5+ years of relevant experience in technology disaster recovery field.
  • Exceptional communication skills to convey technical information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in disaster recovery management tools/software.
  • Experience in data backup and recovery tools and procedures.
  • Experience in managing vendors.

Desirable Skills

">
  • Knowledge and experience working with CyberVault for recovery testing.
  • Familiarity with cloud technologies and their implications for disaster recovery planning.
  • Knowledge of specific threats and vulnerabilities within airlines, logistics, and/or transportation industry.
  • Knowledge/experience with Standard recovery frameworks like NIST SP 800-34 or PECB ISO 22301.
