Job Title: Disaster Recovery Specialist
Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and experienced disaster recovery specialist to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in ensuring business continuity and minimizing downtime during disruptions.
Responsibilities & Accountabilities:
- Develop and maintain disaster recovery plans aligned with organizational needs and industry standards
- Conduct regular testing and updates of recovery plans to ensure effectiveness and compliance
- Collaborate with IT and business units to identify and prioritize critical systems and data assets
- Ensure all key stakeholders and system owners receive comprehensive training on disaster recovery and business continuity procedures
- Coordinate with external vendors and service providers to ensure disaster recovery plans are aligned with service level agreements
- Participate in risk assessments and business impact analyses to identify potential threats and vulnerabilities
Requirements And Experience:
- 2+ years of experience in disaster recovery planning and implementation
- Experience with backup and recovery procedures, business continuity planning, and risk management
- Industry certifications such as Certified Business Continuity Professional (CBCP) or Disaster Recovery Institute International (DRII) certification
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with all levels of stakeholders across the organization
