Job Title: Project Manager - Amtec Disaster Recovery
Location: Base of operations Rowville – Servicing Victoria wide
About Us: Amtec Disaster Recovery specializes in restoring properties affected by disasters such as water damage, mould, fire, meth labs, and hydroponic labs and more. We provide comprehensive remediation services to assist the insurance industry for homeowners, and businesses.
Our role is restoring properties to pre-loss condition.

Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual from within the restoration industry to join our team. Understanding restoration inside and out is essential and experience as a project manager is looked upon very favourably.
Reporting to the Senior Project Manager, the Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing large or complex remediation projects. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in estimating projects, creating the scope of work, ensuring safe remediation efforts, and upholding quality standards. The Project Manager will build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, demonstrate strong leadership skills, and have the ability to mentor and train staff as needed.
Responsibilities:
Estimating large or complex remediation projects for losses including but not necessarily limited to water damage, mould, fire, meth-labs, and hydroponic labs.
Create detailed scopes of work to guide remediation efforts by technicians, ensuring the safety of occupants and workers.
Oversee remediation projects to minimize disruption to customers' lives and ensure efficient completion.
Conduct final quality checks on projects to uphold quality standards and ensure properties are returned to normal ecological conditions.
Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including insurance companies and homeowners.
Demonstrate strong leadership skills to effectively manage project teams and subcontractors.
Mentor and train staff to ensure continuous improvement and skill development.
Requirements:
Proven experience in project management, preferably in the restoration or construction industry.
Strong understanding of remediation processes and regulations related to water damage, mould, fire, and other hazardous materials.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders.
Demonstrated leadership abilities and the ability to effectively lead and motivate project teams.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
