Base Operations Specialist

The Department of Defence offers a dynamic and challenging career as a Base Operations Specialist. As a key member of the East & West Zone team, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining Defence Bases across Australia.

This role involves working closely with various military, civilian and contractor stakeholders to ensure the effective security, management and maintenance of Defence assets. You will have the opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, where no two days are the same.

About our Team:

The East & West Zone is a branch of the Service Delivery Division within the Department of Defence Security and Estate Group.

We provide essential services and support to Defence personnel at locations across South Australia, New South Wales (excluding the Riverina), Western Australia and the Australian Capital Territory.

This work is critical to Defence capabilities, prioritising base resources and ensuring service delivery standards across the Defence estate.
