Director - Curriculum Implementation Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director to lead the implementation of the Australian Curriculum (version 9) in our Curriculum, Teaching and Learning (CTL) unit. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of curriculum development and implementation, as well as experience in leading complex projects and developing innovative strategic initiatives.
The Director will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of Australian Curriculum (version 9) planning and assessment materials, and their production materials, in relation to CTL's deliverables and projects. They will also provide high-level support and advice to the Executive Director in relation to projects across the unit.
The ideal candidate will have a nuanced understanding of the development of curriculum-aligned materials, with a particular focus on supporting implementation of the Prep to Year 10 Australian Curriculum (version 9) and curriculum, teaching and learning strategic initiatives for Queensland state schools and regions.

The successful candidate will have a proven ability to lead complex projects and develop innovative and effective strategic initiatives and solutions.
They will also have experience leading curriculum implementation initiatives across Prep to Year 10, and experience leading production design work on a set timeframe and on budget. The ideal candidate will have a detailed understanding of system resources, including the P-12 curriculum, assessment and reporting framework.
